Dear Popwalk Community,

Two years ago, we moved our organization to Utah. In those two years we have been very busy. We have received grants from Utah Humanities, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, and from the National Parks Service. We have collaborated with the Springville Museum of Art and the Salt Lake Cultural Core. We have collaborated with the BYU Art History department and Granary Arts in Ephraim, Utah.

We are coming to you now because we are on the edge of finishing an exciting project that we would like you to be a part of.

We have been working for the last year to create an exhibit of art and cultural videos entitled Our Valley Speaks, a Sanpete Experience. Sanpete Valley is situated southeast of Salt Lake City and holds many cultural and historic treasures, such as the Manti Temple, Snow College, and Historic Spring City. We have curated an exhibit of site specific artworks from artists that live all over the western United States. There are also works about the ecology, history, architecture, and many other facets of the valley. There will be over sixty works in the exhibit. And we want you to be a part of this:

Just three weeks ago we were alerted by Google that there is a do-or-die update needed. The good news is that our technical staff is working on this as we speak, and it will be ready on time for the exhibit! I would like to invite you to help support this exhibit, making it possible for us to share this wonderful cultural project that will benefit the whole state of Utah and help us grow Popwalk into a national exhibition format! There are a number of ways that you can help us:

Give to Popwalk, to help us complete our update!

Our vision is to make Popwalk an exhibition venue for digital artists, art history, and public art all over the continent. During Covid, while many arts organizations were closed, we have been thriving with many opportunities to exhibit art and cultural works in many locations.

If you would like to help us with the Our Valley Speaks exhibition by donating, you can press the ‘donate’ button on the homepage of this site. Because our organization is a 501(c)3 non profit, donations are tax deductible.
