Our Valley Speaks: A Sanpete Experience uses the Popwalk smartphone app to guide you throughout the Sanpete valley, in central Utah, to see videos about specific places in that valley. There are over sixty artworks, performances, and histories to be seen. To learn more about the works in this exhibit, please read this post.

There is so much to see in the Our Valley Speaks: A Sanpete Experience exhibition that we have created two curator-led tours of the exhibition. You can sign up for a guided tour of the works in Ephraim or Spring City. Scroll down below to see the dates and times of the tours and please sign up for one!

If you are not able to attend one of the tours, we have attached a self guided walking or driving tour PDF that you can download (below) and use. Here are the tours:

The Ephraim Tour

The Ephraim tour will start at the Granary Art building at 86 N. Main Street, in Ephraim. We will see a history of the Granary building and the CCA Christiansen cabin. Then we will move across the street to Pioneer Park to see learn about two historic buildings. From there we will move south to the library to see an artwork, and then go one block east to see works about the Topaz Internment camp and interment of minors. We will finish learning about the old Ephraim jail building.

This tour will last an hour and require a walk of about a mile.

The Spring City Tour

The Spring City tour will start on the corner of 100 N and Main St. (you can park along Main Street). We will see works about the ecology and pioneer heritage of Spring City. Moving south along Main Street, we will hear more about historic Spring City. Going east along Center Street, we will hear about the city’s historic architecture and a pioneer story. Coming back to Main Street, we will hear about the artists that live in Spring City today and then finish our tour, learning about the historic Spring City Chapel.

This tour will last an hour and require a walk of about a mile.
